ABOUT ME
- Christie La Russell
- As a painter, my current focus is on the familiar urban, what we pass everyday and take for granted. These scenes change, buildings are remodeled, businesses change… it’s my way of documenting the here and now. For me, it is never about an exact representation, it is always about the “what if” and the colors that could be. It is always an experiment to push forward. Some work, some don’t, but that is the essence for me of being an artist. And ALWAYS about having a sense of humor about life.
